Stealth Team and Objective Marker Finished

Stealth Team and Objective Marker Finished

I’ve had some more time to paint and I’ve found I was slacking finishing off my VX15 Stealth Team. For some reason the original inspiration that I had when I was undercoating them. I’m thinking it has something to do with the black undercoat that I was using when I picked them up since I have gone back to white and I think it helps the figures ‘POP’ more when putting colour on them.

Also it could be part with since I’m using older paints, most at least 10 years old, the amount that I have to put on them to get the colour right is more than I’d like.

I’m going to have to start looking at some of the foundation paints from Games Workshop I think so I can get a thinner layer on the figure before going onto shading, highlighting etc.

I also finished off the highlighting on the Objective Marker I previously posted so here are the photos awaiting your comments!

First we have the Stealth Team with Markerlight Drone

And now with the Objective Marker

As always leave your thoughts in the comments and if you want to see larger pictures you can go over to my Flickr Page.

I’m currently working on my XV8 Commander and Bodyguard as well as another Objective Marker.

I actually really like that objective marker. The narrative of the guy hanging out there waiting to be picked up is pretty good.

Thanks for that! I wanted to do something different and also that gave me the chance to play around with colours for when I start painting up my tanks.

The next one I am working on at the moment is more like the entrance to an underground base of some sorts.

I’ll get some photos of that soon.

    Thanks Buz!

If you give me a blank piece of paper I can’t do anything but as this is like painting by numbers I can do that!
